Our ladies' rinks won the Gosforth Centenary Invitation event in August last year.

Whatever your standard, our members will make it easy for you to fit in and enjoy the game. We have three qualified coaches, who offer their advice for free.  Why wait?

Non-members are welcome to play, for a small fee per session.  For more information, please contact the club secretary.
Latest News

Like all other sports clubs we were forced to close in March, with the result that we missed the start of the season.   In fact, Bowls Northumberland have announced that all competitive bowls will be cancelled for the 2020 season.  All references in these pages to the various leagues that we play in should therefore be seen in that context.

It now seems from government announcements that bowls clubs will be among the first sports clubs to re-open.  We shall be taking advice on how to do this safely, and will announce any opening as soon as possible.

We do still hope that our Open Mixed Triples event will take place on 22 August.  Anyone interested in booking a place should do so via Brian Elstob on 01434 622135.  If the event does have to be cancelled all entrants will be notified at once.
We shall keep our Twitter account updated as and when there are developments. You can follow us @HexhamElvaston, and find us also on Facebook

Anyone who feels nostalgic about how things used to be, on those endless sunny afternoons and evenings, with no rain, wind or bumpy greens to contend with, can still look up past Match Reports

Coloured bowls The Club plays in three local leagues with men's, ladies' and mixed teams, as well as enjoying several informal sessions each week.  We also play about 16 friendly matches each year, against a wide range of neighbouring clubs.   Check out our full schedule .
